Many of us have dreamt of going to the moon. And from years this
dream has been something that denoted a common type of love factor in the
humans. But did you ever believe in the idea of actually going to the moon?
Those
who are nodding their head as a "yes" must know that you wouldn't
have believed in the idea if it wasn't for the technology. However, it is
fortunate enough for all of us to be living in an era where fulfilling a dream
of any kind is not impossible.
The
Chief Executive of SpaceX, E lon Musk, has announced that he will be sending a
person on a trip to the moon and back. But the question arises that who will be
that person? Will he be a random guy or a billionaire?
Well,
you guessed it right. He is a billionaire and the founder of a Japanese
clothing line Zozo, Yusaku Maezawa. He has signed a deal with the Elon Musk
that he will be going on a trip to the moon in one of the rockets that is
still-to-built.
The
rocket in which Zozo founder Yusaku would be going on a trip would be called
B.F.R and would take time until the year 2023 to be completed and made fully
functional.
Interestingly,
Maezawa wants to follow the footsteps of the American astronauts who landed the
moon in the year 1968 during the Mission Apollo 8.
The
Trip Estimation
It
is an obvious fact that the trip to the moon would definitely cost millions of
dollars. However, both of the parties, Elon Musk and Yusaku Mezawa, who are
involved in the entire process of the moon trip, have decided not to disclose
the amount that is required for the trip.
Most
importantly, Elon Musk has made a statement that the ticket amount that will be
paid by the billionaire Yusaku Maezawa to SpaceX would be a huge contribution
in order to complete the process of rocket making and also the expenses that
come along in such a huge task.
The
Rocket Estimation
According
to the SpaceX chief executive Elon Musk, the approximate expenditure in making
the rocket would cost the company anywhere from two to ten billion dollars.
However, Maezawa has also announced that he is interested in taking around a
couple of painting artists on the trip.
The
main motive behind taking those artists along on the trip to the moon would be
to make them work on a project that is named Dear Moon.
